The Chesham Luncheon Club has been a feature of the Chilterns business community for many years.

Managed and hosted by Daphne Clarke, from small beginnings when no more than half-a-dozen people met for an informal lunchtime 'get together', the Club now has a membership of well over 160. This success has largely been due to the very able stewardship of Daphne Clarke, whose belief and energy has produced a very valuable asset for the local business community.

The purpose of the Chesham Luncheon Club is to act as a meeting point for traders and professional businesses alike, so that the diverse range of facilities available locally can be promoted more widely. The increasing popularity of the club is testament to the fact that this philosophy is working.

Each month, the club features a guest speaker from a local company or trade, who is given the opportunity to promote their business in a ten-minute presentation. Advertising flyers relating to that business are sent out with the invitations for that month. In addition there is a table where you can display information on your company, which since its introduction has proved very popular.

The current cost of 6.50 per person, per attendance includes: -

  • The Chance to 'network' with other local businesses and traders in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • The opportunity to display your literature
  • The Chance to book a slot to give your own presentation
  • A hot and cold buffet lunch
  • Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at the Chesham Conservative Club, Lower Ground Floor, Douglas McMinn Building, East Street, Chesham, HP5 1DG.

We are a very friendly and informal group, and if you would like to know more and receive a personalised invitation please contact Daphne Clarke who will be very happy to help and to answer any questions that you might have.
